This is a very volatile fast moving sector, and things were different across the entire sector back then. The opinion piece cited has been widely discredited by many investors (and by Clark County Commissioners and the state of NV).

Here are just a few examples of the issues with this old outdated opinion piece:
It is unlikely that TRTC will receive any license from Clark County
Note: 8 approved licences prove this point completely wrong.

Derek Peterson and his wife (Amy Almsteier, Treasurer) have been charged with accepting illegally issued securities and selling these shares.
Note: still in business, no indictments, and SEC has no active case

TRTC was built to be a promotion.
Note: 8 licences, IVXX, edible garden are all much more than only a promotion.

And as a side note, the author of this linked out of date opinion piece is "possibly/likely" the same person/entity accused of tort interference by contacting Clark County Commissioners with false accusations. So false that Clark County reconsidered, and approved the 2 locations that the author/authors had possibly wrongfully influenced a commissioner to reject.

In other words, old, out of date, most main points proven wrong by time, and main points clearly rejected by governmental agencies (Clark County Commission, State of NV) since they have approved TRTC for EIGHT licences to operate.
