Now that the news is OUT and the dolls are proven to be on the clearance aisle at Walmart, what promise can October hold? A flashy October PR to announce what anybody paying attention could have seen in mid September?
FWIW, I went to my local Walmart in San Luis Obispo, CA, and saw that they actually had 15 units in stock, and they were on the "Cheap Christmas Toys" aisle. My wife mentioned how amateurish the packaging was when compared to the other offerings.
OWOO's dream of a $35/doll is now a $23/doll at my Walmart. I predict another net loss on the sales of these units. I said it first.
OWOO is a share selling scheme that also made a few dolls that had a negative margin. RIP OWOO>
