I rarely read Chomsky but I am always amazed when I do. He talks Wolfie and Pearle to a tee. The really ironic part is that the Neocon sympathizers only seem to disagree with him because he sees this as a problem and they see it as the plan.

But there is something else that interests me today and that is this statement I posted earlier about the demographics of Israel. 20% of the people there are for want of a better word Islamic and if we add in the "occupied areas" that % goes up. About 20% are native born Jewish and the rest is mostly immigrant. With the fasted growth in population among the Islamic group there is a good chance that if we include the occupied territories the majority will soon enough be this minority. So why would this minority want a separate state when just by birthrate it may very well have the whole place in a decade or two? I am trying to get my mind around that one.
