This is interesting!!!

"NTEK told us at the SHM they have 100 Paramounts loaded on a DISC. They said once they have the GOOGLE CLOUD Network all set up they would be able to load ALL 100 of these Paramounts in ONE SHOT!

LOL!! LMAO!!! ROTFLMAO!!!! 100 4K master digital files on ONE disc??? LOL!!!

You can't even put ONE 2K master file on a Blu-Ray disc.

You can't even put 2 HD master files on a Blu-Ray disc.

What utter, utter horsepuckey from the SHM!!!!

Did none of the attendees at the SHM do the simple math and say "how the hell can anyone put 100 movies on ONE disc?"

"Even storing a 4K master in 32-bit at 24 fps will cost $5,000 for two copies."

http://wolfcrow.com/blog/the-costs-of-working-with-2k-and-4k-uncompressed-footage/

"Typical file size: ~ 68 GB/minute or 4 TB/hour"

https://www.archives.gov/preservation/products/products/mpd-p1.html

A 2 hour movie will be 8 TERABYTES to store the 4K master digital file - ONE MOVIE = TWO 4TB external hard drives!

And NTEK claims that Paramount gave them ONE disc with 100 movies on it?

LOL!!!! Maybe compressed HD at MOST ... and even that wouldn't fit on a 5 TB external drive.

Maybe NTEK is using compressed .MP4 HD (1080 or 720) downloaded from torrents!!!

BWahahahahaa!!! What UN-believable horsepuckey. And NOBODY at the SHNM called them on this WHOPPER.

What utter horsepuckey!!!
