You are absolutely correct in the respect that drilling has not taken place recently.
I believe the recent trenching will provide information on where AUYRN will set up platforms for future drilling.
That trenching has uncovered five parallel ore bodies with some excellent grades.
Perhaps an aeromagnetic survey was actually performed during the "new blackout" period to help identify "hot spots" suitable for trenching and eventual drilling.
How else would AUYRN have known how to find the Merlin and associated veins?
