VOD is not even close to being any kind of threat to rentals. To get the general public to the point of being able to download feature length movies (without error) and at an affordable cost is a gigantic hurdle to overcome.

I personally don't think it will happen in the next 50 years if at all. Too many players with vested interests, too many consumers sick of purchasing the next high-priced attachment software, or hardware, too many headaches and hiccups in quality and download efficiencies.

In fact, GZFX supposed venture into VOD is one of the biggest black marks I have against the company and any proof that they are pouring substantial money into that will cause me to fly outta here faster than that imaginary rocket to the moon.
