NovaBay Pharmaceuticals To Sell Eye Product Through Lenscrafters

07:40 AM EDT, 09/16/2015 (MT Newswires) -- NovaBay Pharmaceuticals (NBY) a biopharmaceutical developer of non-antibiotic antimicrobial products for the eyes, Wednesday reported that its prescription daily eyelid and lash hygiene product Avenova will be marketed through ALLDocs Optometry Group, aka The Association of LensCrafters Leaseholding Doctors, the second-largest independent optometry group in the U.S.

NovaBay said the agreement with will bring Avenova to "hundreds of additional optometrists and thousands of additional patients."

NovaBay said Lenscrafters follows on previous distribution agreements with McKesson (MCK), Cardinal Health (CAH), AmerisourceBergen (ABC) and Vision Source, the latter the largest independent optometry network in the U.S. NovaBay said it also sells to the majority of the nation's 67,000 pharmacies and many retail chains.
