Sorry to hear that you are in the red. My first purchase was in 2010 and even though I'm in the green, I was in the red for more than one year due to a clinical hold on the Kevetrin trial. I plan to hold until 2020 because biotech is a decade long investment.

Just look at the 10-year chart of REGN or JAZZ. The beginning is always quiet, followed by a fast and furious rise near the end. So hang in there. =)

Your entry price is probably a lot lower than most of us here. I think most of us who entered within the last two years are not as lucky as you are. I believe that most of us are in the red.
