$ELTP ADF Patents stress "water-retardant polymer" for the opioid agonist and antagonist throughout the body of the Patents and with good reason. It is essential to keep the beads dry and prevent destruction of the agonist.

Any attempt at soaking the beads in a saline acid, or alkaline media will defeat the protection and lead to destruction of the ER agonist.

Street Junkies know this thru trial and error testing and resort to dry charring to destroy non-opioid matter and free up the refractory opioid agonist for ARFs such as Oxycontin.

However for ELI-200 ADF any charring will form a char mass of both agonist and antagonist rendering it useless.
