Geophysical equipment supplier Mitcham Industries (MIND -1.1%) sets the stage for the succession of its CEO and founder, Billy Mitcham, extending his employment agreement through 2018 and promoting two company executives to co-COO roles.

Mitcham will remain in the CEO position, then transition to CEO Emeritus and Founder at a date to be determined.

Robert Capps and Guy Malden are promoted from interim co-COOs to co-COOs, effective immediately.
