I use Ameritrade level II and yes, I use it all the time... It's only been a few years since OTCBB stocks even had a decent level II, but you still don't get to see the real numbers... Market takers will show 10,000 shares on bid or ask, and sometimes have millions for buy or sale at those prices... You learn which ones are active and are hiding bids/ask though, and it gives you some idea about how the trading is going ...
