"No Responses to the H-Pylori article?"

OK, you want a response. Well, here it is. The treatment is worthless. You take acid reducer, pepto bismal, and two different antibiotics for two weeks. Well, surprise, surprise, you kill the bacteria after taking a hell of a lot of antibiotics.

Then, surprise, surprise you get the ulcer right back. Ulcers are caused by a reduction in the mucus lining of the stomach. When that layer gets thin, stand by. The bacteria that actually eats into the lining is so common that you reacquire it in a few days/weeks so the treatment is to not eliminate the bacteria, you try to prevent the mucus lining from deteriorating. That is the only true preventative.

So, the discovery of a bacteria that causes ulcers? no big deal.
