It's an interesting thought. I've been imagining the possibility of a sale since they increased the A/S. Stevia Corp. has a good business model and a ton of good relationships in Asia that would allow them to quickly build strong verticals in the stevia space. When you consider that companies like Coca-Cola and Pepsi like to own the entire supply chain, it makes a lot of sense that one of them (or even a smaller company, like PureCircle or one of their distributors) would want to own the production segment of the supply chain as well.

George is obviously talented at executing the start up phase of an agriculture business, but is having growing pains as he transitions into profitability. It is plausible that he would accept his own limitations and sell Stevia Corp.'s equity in its stevia and aquaculture operations so he can focus on another business in a developing sector of agriculture.

That said, I read the A/S increase as protection from a buyout/takeover and believe George wants to oversee the transition to profitability (and beyond). At some point, though, he needs to raise some money to bring on a proper PR team and maybe even a COO to maintain operations while he focuses on developing operations.
