April 2013:
The FAA approves Baltia through Gate 1 of the certification process. Training and flight evaluations are next.
October 2014:
The FAA approves Baltia through Gate 2 of the certification process. Flight operation evaluations is next. This will include the Tabletop exercises, Mini-Evacuation, Ditching exercise, and the Proving Run Flights.
November 2014:
-Baltia passes the Phase III required Conformity Check. The aircraft is cleared for certification.
-Baltia passes Tabletop exercise with FAA. Manuals and operational use of manuals approved.
February 2015:
Second class of pilots begin simulator training.
May 2015:
WILLOW RUN AIRPORT, Mich., May 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Baltia Air Lines (OTC Pink: BLTA) announced today that its cabin crewmembers have successfully completed the recurrent training. In conjunction with their training an additional Purser and an Instructor are being qualified.
June 2015:
-Phase III certification process continues with preparations for the Evacuation exercise demonstration.
July 2015:
Baltia Air Lines (BLTA) announced that its Initial Cadre Check Airmen (ICCA) have successfully completed the required recurrent training in a simulator in preparation for Check Airmen certification to be conducted during proving flights.
September 2015:
Baltia's flight crews welcomed back to Willow Run for their recurrent training in preparation for the upcoming proving flights.
The training will be conducted at the Kalitta International Flight Academy.
