Residents of Oldsmar FL to get Verizon FiOs TV....yesterday verizon announced that three residential areas in Mass were going to be able to obtain the service...

Big push by Verizon to compete with Cable companies....AT&T also in the game with MovieLink....although the show I saw clearly stated trial and small numbers to start with for AT&T services. (Test Marketing).

They all want to be able to compete with the Cable/Phone/Internet bundles offered by cable companies.
