Remember when TRTC was patting itself on the back for donating perishable, nutrition lacking LETTUCE to a FOOD BANK? lol

Tamar Haspel argues that the nutritional value of lettuce is so small — and its cost to the environment so big — that we should stop thinking of it as a wholesome staple foodstuff and instead regard it as a waste of space and resources.
Lettuce, she claims, takes up valuable space in farms and greenhouses that could be used for something more nutritious.
