Because personal conversations aren't considered "official communication" there is a different standard of truthfulness, plus there's no way to prove what is really said. When I was an EDIG shareholder, I e-mailed RP some hard hitting questions. He would not e-mail answers back, but asked me to give him a call to discuss instead. He seems to feel more comfortable giving his enthusiastic "expectations" and "explanations" on the telephone in call (which would be illegal to tape without his permission) than in an e-mail, which can be traced to him.

As sunpoop's post fully admits, RP has a history of creating huge expectations before there is any verified agreement and has let shareholders down many, many times in the past when his musings never materialized.

Many shareholders have lost huge sums of money buying stock based on these reported conversations with RP.

History has proven, that these reported conversations are extremely unreliable and should not be used as any basis for an investment decision. The only thing that the company can be held accountable for is statements of fact. In the case of e.Digital, they state that ONLY statements of historical fact are "facts" and that all others are "forward looking statements" that may not materialize due to an abundance of factors.

If it's not in an official communication, it would be foolish to rely on it.
