B9- good post. More importantly, this patent allow(ed) for final dev. and or prototype of "E" hand held. I assume that patent has been incorporated into B220 already or TSA would never have approved it. Onward with the "E" and with the "Hydra" non contact.
Production note: ECAC specs on line ETD use by oct.2015, ISC has to be producing units like hotcakes ( selling some 600-700(?) units to ECAC alone) so the internal problems that TSA is facing/going thru are sort of blessings that allow ISC to produce units to fill ECAC first, then TSA orders next. Sort of weird how that all is working out.
Key fundamental question: how many b-220s can ISC produce per month? 200? 175? 300?
I doubt they go outside the company for production of this unit. Too dangerous, IMO.
Second Wave/Follow on dev.: In my limited view, we should hear some very exciting news about non-contact before the year is out. I sense, CEO wants to allow B-220s to enter use, before jading/confusing mkt. with BETTER ( yes BETTER) product.
All in all: Sept 15th CC should be good. Nov. 15th CC should be a blockbuster!
No one knows the hard path a nano-cap underfunded company takes to compete with big multi-nationals. It is what it is and we longs have learned that the "long" way.
