Key points I took from the PR:
1) Undeclared equity stake of $1M. Not very much right now, but, when the PPI deal is closed, this will go well over $10M. Nice bonus to the market cap as Bali pointed out.
2) "The value of our investment in GBG should provide Sunergy funding for audits and operations in the near future." Looks like GBG is already profitable and will be pushing cash back into Sunergy before year's end. (recall from last PR that Garrett said we will be profitable by EOY. So, we only have two more quarterly reports that Sunergy will need extra cash for the accountants.)
3) "Our mining efforts in Sierra Leone are on schedule and new equipment will be in place to take advantage of the upcoming dry mining season, which may start as early as October this year." This means that the equipment will be in place before the end of September. Still no confirmation from the NMA whether the new license is in place. SNEY claims it is in place and I realize many of the Henny Penny types on this board need this third part confirmation.
4) "We are in preliminary discussions for non-dilutive funding to further expand our diamond shipments." This can only be possible with provable revenue streams. So, to be in discussion means that they are successful in continuing to grow the revenue stream as we talked about when the 10Q was released.
5) There are many references on the web to this forum and the other invitees including Firestone. It is significant that Sunergy was invited too. I think this gives legitimacy to the endeavor.
That is what I took away from today's PR. Yes, the doubters will throw sand. BFD. I, for one am still invested as I believe they are finally making progress.
