Cut backs in production will only accelerate the price recovery. China is still growing significantly, just maybe at 6% vs. 9%...

The US is still growing at pace and India is accelerating in growth..

The world will need more copper. Icahn taking an FCX stake will bring some notice to the downtrodden sector.

Given any LBSR discovery is likely 3-5 years out, I think exploration dollars for these type of targets will be available as copper is expected to face supply shortfalls in that time period.. As suggested a combination of private placements and JV equity deals and S-1 money may provide the drilling cash to explore new target and drill test HM. Once a discovery is firm, delineation cash should be more readily available given long term fundamentals..
