I have Macromedia Flash, but as you forewarned, I'm not touching the browser cache.
I did that once a while ago, and I might as well have just thrown everything out and started all over (similar result to what I had).

I'll test, defrag., use error-checking status, etc., but that's as far as I'll go.

I'll just have to watch that plane just sit there on the website (seems appropriate somehow :/ ).
