SUMMARY
The Sr. Manager, Commercialization Development supports the establishment and tracking of commercialization and launch strategies. This role will build out and manage efforts needed to develop a new commercial infrastructure to meet organizational objectives. In addition, the successful candidate will work in close partnership and with guidance from clinical, medical affairs, business development and commercialization leadership.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develops and manages specific commercialization and launch plans for lead oncology product or therapeutic areas within the organization.
• Interprets and translates scientific clinical data into commercial implications.
• Conducts and manages primary and secondary market research projects, including labeling and advertising.
• May develop short and long-range strategies for commercialization expansion.
• Analyzes data and makes strategic recommendations.
• Provides commercialization insight and direction to optimize new product launches.
• Recommends pricing strategies and monitors budget and expenditures.
• Ensures product placement and development corresponds to market needs.
• Represents the commercialization group on cross-functional team interfacing with product development, production and manufacturing in the development of the primary product.
• Responsible for the analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information.
• Participates in the development and implementation of commercialization plans and projects for new and existing products.
• Expands and develops commercialization platforms and creates presentations.
• Monitors, reviews and reports on all commercialization activity and results.
• Manages the commercialization budget and participates in pricing strategies."
