any specific reason why you think its beneficial to have R/S?

i did see this PR reading..

reverse stock split will elevate the Company from its current "penny stock" position enabling institutional investors who are precluded from investing in companies below certain price per share ranges to potentially consider investing in U.S. Stem Cell, Inc..

should we see this R/S in the light of "institutional investors"? OR is it just as normal as other usual reasons such as price stability/reduced volatility, bringing stock to manageable volume etc. that every company says for R/S!
