On balance I would rather own a one oz can of tuna than one oz of gold.

Go figure how one would nourish themselves if they had gold as their only asset.

I'd say its a safe fact that someone would swap one oz of gold for 1/2 oz tuna, and of course the owner of the tuna can gets to use the can once they've consumed the other 1/2 oz.
