Always worth getting this man's opinion as he is one of the few posters who employs critical and objective reasoning in his arguments.
Interesting that he suspects Mr. Chapin to be the source of the AUYRN rumor.
What is it about the psychology of current and former law enforcement that makes them feel that they have the right to "herd" the masses, both literally and in this case, corralling public opinion? If AUYRN actually made this threat, fine, but if not, and this amounts to a "trumped-up" accusation, then this is nothing more than abuse of his station and privilege. That would be unfortunate, but as usual, we'll never know the real story.
