How to get rid of shorters? (repost)

In case you overlooked the original post, here it is again:

"How to get rid of shorters?

This OTC.BB company came out with an interesting idea how to get rid of ``short squeeze''. This may be usefull for SEVU, too. Here you can find their PR. what was released today.

http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/010524/0124.html

From the PR.:

"Management believes that the current stock price is being held down purposely and this is attributable in part to heavy selling pressure from ``short selling'' in the marketplace. Therefore, let me take a minute to explain ``short selling'' and what we think you can do to help.

We suggest you promptly call your brokers and have your ThermaFreeze stock taken out of street name account. This only means that instead of your shares being registered in your broker's name, they would be registered in your name.

What would change? A short seller would not be able to borrow your stock for short sales without your permission. So long as the stock is registered in the broker's name, the broker is the legal owner of record, and can lend your stock to a short seller without your permission. If you have the stock registered in your own name, brokers will not be able to do this.""
