Today is Duke Kahanamoku's birthday... Celebrate. August 24 1890 - Jan 22 1968 .
The grandest surfer of all times ...
Whenever you are out in L.A. - right when you enter Malibu ;
there is Duke Kahanamoku's restaurant and bar on the beach.
Entering Duke's stay to the left , then go outside where there are tables connected to the bar , the waves will be crashing against the rocks .. Day or night , Duke's is fabulous.
You can order anything off the menu there and you still get to be outdoors !!!
