STAX - Stelax Announces 132,000 Pounds of NUOVINOX(TM) Rebar to Be Used on Wisconsin D.O.T. Portage River Bridge Reconstruction Project7/2/03

Stelax Industries Ltd. (OTC Bulletin Board and Euronext Symbol: STAX) announced today that Stelax International Ltd. has received a contract for use of NUOVINOX(TM) rebar on the Wisconsin Department of Transportation - 'Portage River Bridge Reconstruction Project.'Approximately 132,000 pounds of NUOVINOX(TM) stainless steel clad rebar, is to be used in the reconstruction project and is due to be delivered in October of 2003. The Portage River Bridge is the 3rd Wisconsin DOT project to use NUOVINOX(TM).
