No. That is not true. On stock specific boards the only mods who can place content in an ibox or modify their own existing content are the mods assigned to that board.

Mods assigned to a given stock specific board can place content of their choosing in the ibox provided such content does not violate the site's rules. They may not modify or remove content previously placed there by another mod.

It doesn't look like I'll be running out of things to do any time soon.
