Jimmy carter stories

I was at the Preakness and a women comes up to me and nicely
says i am jimmy carter's wife he is running for president i hope
you will vote for him.

A good military friend of mine was in the training and planning to
attack Cuba in the 90's. The Russian's were again moving missiles
into Cuba. Jimmy Carter went down talked with the Cuban's and the
whole situation was resolved without a shot being fired.

What surprised me instead of praising Carter the military friend then attacked him calling a left wing peanut farmer. This is really
insane. I do not understand people. When Bush 1 invaded Irag
i said he really did a great job. It did not matter to me he
was left or right wing. I am an American i never root against
the president whether he is right wing or disagrees with me.
