Furlong's outfit, HCCA, took over the old lease that Spielman and Bender operated. Supposedly, they left behind 500,000 tons of tailings, from which they extracted a miniscule number of ounces of ore. Not even .01 opt, which is sure below economic levels. To think that they missed ~$20,000 worth per ton of riches is preposterous.
