suspicious reporting, its not uncommon for a chunk of ice to fall off a plane and hit a house, its not uncommon for a piece of trim, sheathing or gear flap/door to shear off, its rare, but not unheard of, by no means is this the first (or last) runway approach light at the start of the runway, that got clipped, hell there is even a lil probe on the back tail underside of some planes that let the pilot know the angles too steep when taking off and the tail is about to scrape. this is such minutia, no one got hurt, no one was even aware of most of these situations, far worse happens daily around the world, must be slow news day, fuel savings-every flight, company synergies-every flight, contract in place-every flight, one plane departs without enough soft drinks-stock tanks. go figure
