The company is nicely positioned, having revamped its strategy nearly a decade ago, which included a shift toward LNG storage, it's now well positioned to benefit from LNG exports. Icahn also has an issue with LNG's executive compensation. CEO Charif Souki took in $140 million in 2013 in compensation - making him the highest paid CEO in the U.S. Yet, his salary was reduced to $1 last year.
