Talked to my colleague in Dallas. He showed up toward the end of the event. He talked to Rash and PURA CEO, Brian Shibley as well as Brad from Hippie Butter and Troy from the CityBlends Cafe that USMJ acquired.
He gave the entire crew high marks for integrity and knowing their business. Brad is apparently very knowledgeable on hemp, all its parts and all the benefits. Troy, he said, was very enthusiastic about the smoothie business and even gave him a behind the scenes tour of how the smoothies are made with the BlendTec blender. Rash is the corporate guy doing the m&a and finance.
Dallas Morning News reporter came and brought a photographer. A local Rowlet reporter was there too.
I gave him a list of questions to ask - dividends, i/o, Frisco shop opening ... He promised to write up an email in more detail on the event and send it to me. My colleague said he doesn't know anything about penny stocks, but that he liked the people that he met and believes they are serious about the business they are building.
He also liked the smoothie. He had a chocolate and peanut butter smoothie with hemp protein. He said they were offering the CityBlend smoothies with either a hemp protein supplement, a cbd supplement or a hemp energy supplement. He said he also ate plenty of hemp seeds and liked them and that he also had a dube shot and expects to be up late. He said they had other hemp products to include pizza, but that he didn't try anything else.
He said there were no Lambo's or Ferrari's in the parking lot and that he even drove by the back of the shop on his way out just to make sure since I seem so concerned about the possibility when I talked to him on the phone.
