I want to add some smaller remarks.
First, if you guys feel that the American public is wanting to go for more healthy food, then that would really be an enormous market. It's sad to say, and i hope i don't offend anyone, but that's actually one of the ways to recognize Americans here in Europe (especially girls and women is my impression): their overweight ... So if there really is a shift in alimentation philosophy, Italian stuff is definitely one of the big things. But they should then focus on less caloric sauces (as i see in the pictures lots of sauces): pasta is mostly eaten with a sauce but a lot depends on the sauce (speaking in health terms).
Second remark, the pictures of the 'Pasta italiana' plant don't really seem very 'glamorous', do they? Nobody's concerned by that? I mean, i know Pasta Italiana is a small company, but those pictures ... (to me it just means they exist, not much more than that). When you have a look at their website, you get the same impression, very low budget web site ...
And I saw on the pictures of the sauces a serious typo: 'arrabbiata' should be spelled with two 'b's'. I'll send them an email to notify.
As for putting the pasta and ravioli on the international market, what i can say for Europe is that 1) yes, Disney is a strong brand here as well (of course mostly for kids); 2) there are a lot of people eating pasta here (not only Italians) and in general they prefer the 'good stuff' ... I mean by that that pasta (ravioli is just a kind of pasta) is sold mainly by Italian (or French) companies with serious quality reputation. So if IVFH wants to come on this market, it'll have to be quality stuff. Maybe it's different if you only focus on the kids, but i doubt parents will buy 'no matter what'.
Great work on the board here, that's for sure. With my remarks, i didn't want to be negative, just asking for comments. For the rest i'm holding my shares, just like everybody else (as there has been close to zero volume the past week),
c
