Letrozole/rIGFBP-3 = Novartis/Insmed NOT

The study was funded by the DOD. NVS was not a sponsor. This is hype by association.

"It is suprising that Insmed nor Novartis have presented these SUPERIOR results at ASCO 2006.

The "C" in ASCO stands for Clinical. The cited study was in BC models - I'm not sure why the surprise.

I look at the oncology franchise as a bonus. It really is not part of the company's focus and it is not where their expertise lies. I'd love to see an onco partnership/licensing that will spare us some dilution. Let Genentech (or Novartis) run with it and give us our 10% if and when it gets to market. In the meanwhile, put the 20 or 40 million up-front in the kitty.
