Here's the deal about MYEC's possibilities. In the first couple of years after MyEcheck went public, if Ed had sold MyEcheck to a larger company the shareholders would NOT have liked the deal on their end due to the price they paid in 2009. When Ebay bought Paypay, PayPal shareholders basically got their investment back. If you research you will find many weren't happy(shareholders didn't build the company...boohoo!!). With that said, if MyEcheck hits $5 and then Ed sells it, those who paid $5 won't be too excited. On the other hand, those that paid under a penny will be saying WOOHOO! If anyone is still holding from MYEC's reverse merger into Sekoya holdings days, they aren't very happy...BUT they saw what EdStarrs and Robert Blanchard went through and CANNOT EVEN COMPARE their own losses with Ed and Robert's. Bottom line : Do whatever the hell you want...but the FACT REMAINS EdStarrs has reestablished MyEcheck in a world where if you don't have good credit, you have 2 choices...cash or check! Btw, cash is hard to shove into your computer screen to buy something or pay a bill online! Don't get me wrong...their are other options. You can pay with an ACH check and wait 3-5 days to clear before the merchant ships it(Google : PayPal ACH complaints...you will understand the dilemma very quickly). Not to mention the merchant isn't excited to pay 2.5% ach fees vs. MyEcheck's 1% fees or the fact customers can charge back quickly with ACH. MyEcheck's fraud protection is also an asset to merchant's. Another option for people with bad credit is a prepaid credit card. I use one myself to pay ALL online bills for the simple reason if I decide to stop a service, I simply don't reload the card and they can't take a single dime more. As most have experienced, if you stop a service with a credit card in their file, you can bet they will continue to charge your credit card for months after you request your service to be stopped. The problem with prepaid cards is you have ABSOLUTELY NO PROTECTION if someone steals your card number online. VERY, VERY RISKY!! Personally, I use multiple prepaid cards so if I stop a service, I don't have to give a new card number to the other services I am still using. I keep them locked up and labeled for their respective bills. AAA offers cards with no reloading fees with your AAA membership (which I have). Works great! Getting back to MyECheck advantages over those other choices, ACH has only quicker charge back ability over MyEcheck...and that's all!! Prepaid cards...you can use everywhere with the risk of losing everything on the card with ABSOLUTELY NO RECOURSE( NOT good)! Bottom line : MyEcheck only needs more exposure to succeed. Once merchant's become aware of MyEcheck's advantages to them, it is simply a matter of implementation into their system and consumer awareness of how safe MyEcheck's encryption is for them to use. Well, it's breakfast time! See ya in the funny pages! :^)
