So #1 and #2 are both playing against NY jets and Tampa Bay. So, in theory, picking a running back from either of these teams is a very statistically logical choice. And, it just so happens that both of these teams has a little bit of QB drama going on which also could lead to leaning on the RB's a little more as well.
But then there is #3 worst from last year, NY Giants. They gave up a ton of yardage to the run last year as well and it's their opponent in week one that is of most interest to me. They are playing Dallas, who, statistically speaking, had the BEST rushing yardage to a running back as Demarco Murray ran all over every single team last year. It's arguably the talent of the Dallas offensive line that lead to Murray's historic year in 2014 and I'd be VERY interested in playing the running back that get's the start for Dallas against one of the worst rushing defenses in the NFL .....
See how all this stuff kinda does have a rhyme/reason to it?
