Haven't traded TSE in awhile, found banks to slow to execute, although w/ removal of trade approval, I imagine this may have sped up. Anyhow, Charles Kim has written a good, ground book on Day Trading, one of the few that does not glorify the process and guarntee success. He started Swift Trade, Canadian day trading company with direct access. Name of book is 'Swift Trader' ... it is only in hard cover... I just spent a few days and hours in Chapters reading the book instead of buying it. Believe the website for his company is www.swifttrade.com.

Outside of that, not really able to answer your CDN questions.
