Explain then how will the junkie do this, he can't use his microwave since he pawned that, he can't use his kitchen because he most likely lives on the street, Junkies don't work in Labs because getting high sort of gets in the way of working, so crushing them with their cooking spoon is probably a junkies only option and we know that won't work...
