Hi Jane,
I agree. I was disappointed with the quarterly, however, l'm willing to wait at least another year before I declare this company a failure. Maybe I'm a real fool for doing so. In the last three years, they have announced thousands of outlets that have agreed to shelve pulses products. They must have had a positive opinion on the product, including the taste, to agree to shelve the products.
I think Pulses's problem has to do with getting the product out to these thousands of outlets on a very small "shoe string" budget (avoiding too much debt), and getting it out in a timely manner. In these quarterlies it seems that announcments on first deliveries to retail organizations come months and months after the announcements on agreements with these same organizations.
Failure to get product out the door was the excuse (true or not?) in this quarterly for not bettering sales.
The one place I found pulse in NJ was at a Smashburger. They said the 2 flavors of lemonades they sell do very well and they run out of product.
Two weeks ago a Wegmans high end food store in Cherry Hill, NJ did not have any Pulse products. I inquired about availability of Pulse/Cabana beverages. In their computer product inventory their was no recognition of Pulse or Cabana products. This was months after the announcement that 4000 cases were in the process of being delivered.
I'm willing to give them more time. I really have no choice...my average Pulse purchase price is $0.53.
Next quarterly coveres the hot months.
