i like it how biofuels use 1.3 parts of fossil fuels to make every 1.0 part of their fuel.

It would be like instead of getting electricity directly from a wind turbine, you used that electricity to power electric coils that then boiled water to run a steam turbine.

You might as well harness the energy source directly (from oil) than go out of your way to change its form at the expense of efficiency.
