Explosive Trace and Counterfeit Medication Drug Detectors --------------------------------------------------------- CDEX management has placed the further development of these two products on hold pending receipt of additional equity or debt financing. CDEX does not have the financial resources, at this time, to engage the additional human resources or incur the additional expenses that would be required to bring these Poducts to market.
It means that CDEx is no longer going to advertise Valimed as a tool for counterfeit medication detection. It means that Valimed has been specifically designed to test liquids and not solid dosage forms. It means in order to bring a UVF detector to market that can compete with NIRF (if possible) and validate pills nondestructively, it will take financial resources that CDEX does not have IMO.
I also believe that the abandonment of counterfeit medication detection is a strategic move related to the infringement lawsuit.
