For Sierra Global, it's probably how he's paying himself. Telks the hoi polloi he is sacrificing his measly 55k salary. Saw it all the time when I was an underwriter. People set up companies that bleed and offset it with paying themselves and it flows through their personal tax returns. All of the corporate elite do it. It's a shady loophole and should be closed.
