I really want to post this on the other board but I can't;

My DD has taken me as far as knowing that one of the main differences in any of the fuel cell makers is the difference in the material that make up the plates that are stacked together to make up the fuel cell. Bloom's claim to fame was their plates were made from ordinary sand. Most of the best research now being done on fuel cells and their efficiencies is at Georgia Tech.
