I think the cost to the patient and the cost to the medical provider will be interesting to see. In addition to the ITBra technology being revolutionary and more accurate, it will need to be cost effective to those medical providers who may be paying off mammography machines or not willing to give up their emotional investment in what I assume is a very pricey piece of equipment (a quick search shows anywhere from $10,000 to $150,000 new). The battle that may ensue between team ITBra and the mammography industry (sales, manufacturing, proponents of the technology) will be an interesting one.

A cultural shift in the medical field, ranging from physicians practicing in metropolitan, rural or international offices to insurance providers, etc., will need to happen before this innovation becomes a household item.

That being said, I think that shift will come sooner than later and am excited to be invested before that progression takes place.
