They found that only 4M-5M pounds were usable

When HEMP bought the equipment at a bankruptcy auction, they also got 15M pounds of unprocessed kenaf.

When they moved to the new location, they found that 10M - 11M pounds of the kenaf was unusable due to mold, leaving them with 4M - 5M pounds.

This was mentioned in several press releases, but Perlowin also states it begining at the 12 min point in the video.

The maximum capacity of the plant is roughly the kenaf from 3000 acres, or about 27M pounds/year.

This year, they'll have about 7M pounds of kenaf to process, including the 150 acres planted this Summer.
