I'm thinking its time to ditch this old bird, plain and get a new one. It is apparent that the number of problems could continue to mount up even more with this old bird.
They have enough money on hand to buy another one, even newer without all the problems of the Shute and can later bring this angering plain up to par if they wish to get it in the air.
All the monies invested and no pass, scrap the old bird and get a newer one with less problems! Just my opinion. .?
