as I have said here many times but it never seems to get any traction, I am not for Republicans. I like Carly simply because she is a sharp person and an outsider who would have a chance to shake things up if she were to become President but there are many positions where I would not support her or would vehemently disagree with her. Bernie is honest and Ben Carson is another good one. The rest I don't care for on either side, but I have little doubt that whomever becomes President will be informed how the game is being played and will fall into form just like Obama and Bush and Clinton and all the rest have done along with the vast majority of Senators and Congress.

In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together.
