Without attempting a dissertation on the enforcement of a US judgment against ZTE in other countries I’d simply say that it’s very, very probable that a judgment in the US would be enforceable in almost all European countries, India, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Canada, Australia, and various Mideast and South/Central American countries. Actually the inability to enforce a judgement would be the exception rather than the rule. And a refusal to pay or comply with injunctions could result in many, many other problems for ZTE. In this day and age a company doing international business simply cannot be a judgment deadbeat, especially on a big judgment. As a practical matter it’s an impossibility nowadays, especially if the judgment is from a federal US court.
